To train graduate-level professionals in Constitutional Law and the protection of citizens’ rights with a comprehensive vision of legal sciences, mastery of epistemic, normative, and procedural foundations through teaching, legal tools and methodologies, and the use of ICTs, for the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
What will you learn?
- Establish, with an epistemic, intercultural, and comprehensive vision, the constitutional legal framework, using methodological and technological scientific tools for the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
- Assess the constitutional legal framework from an intercultural, inclusive, and gender-based perspective for the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
- Solve socio-legal constitutional problems that promote the effective enjoyment and protection of citizens’ rights.
- Advise with an epistemic, intercultural, and comprehensive vision of the constitutional legal framework for the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
- Provide adequate representation in the context of constitutional actions for the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
- Administer justice with proper application of constitutional rights and jurisdictional guarantees for the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
- Generate constitutional legal solutions, in accordance with the law, that contribute to improving quality of life and respect for the environment.
- Develop appropriate professional, moral, and ethical conduct in challenging scenarios or situations within their professional legal context.
- Advise and represent in constitutional proceedings in accordance with the principles of Law, professional ethics, and responsible socio-environmental performance.
- Exercise social and environmental responsibility in the constitutional field, respecting the diversity of criteria and thought and fostering comprehensive and inclusive development.
- Master the constitutional principles and values that govern the Ecuadorian legal system, as well as the knowledge and application of constitutional procedural mechanisms that guarantee the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutional rights.
- Interpret and apply legal norms in accordance with the values that inspire the Ecuadorian constitutional framework.
