INTERNATIONAL
To train fourth-level professionals in constitutional law and the protection of citizens’ rights, with a comprehensive vision of legal sciences and mastery of epistemic, regulatory, and procedural foundations through teaching, legal tools and methodologies, and the use of ICT, in order to ensure the effective exercise and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.
What will you learn?

Substantiates the constitutional legal system from an epistemic, intercultural, and comprehensive perspective, using scientific, methodological, and technological tools to ensure the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.

Evaluates the constitutional legal system from an intercultural, inclusive, and gender-sensitive perspective to promote the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.

Provides legal advice grounded in an epistemic, intercultural, and comprehensive understanding of constitutional law to ensure the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.

Provides effective legal representation in constitutional proceedings to safeguard the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.

Administers justice through the proper application of constitutional rights and judicial guarantees to ensure the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.

Demonstrates mastery of the constitutional principles and values that govern the Ecuadorian legal system, as well as knowledge and application of constitutional procedural mechanisms that guarantee the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutional rights.

Interprets and applies legal norms in accordance with the values that underpin Ecuador’s constitutional order.

Understands the constitutional legal system through an intercultural, inclusive, and gender-sensitive lens to ensure the effective enjoyment and protection of constitutionally recognized rights.

Resolves constitutional legal disputes in accordance with a comprehensive and inclusive understanding of the constitutional legal system and the foundations of international human rights protection systems.
