The Family Law Program with a specialization in Childhood, Adolescence, and Estate aims to specialize professionals in Civil Family Law and family assets, enabling them to take direct action in managing conflicts between two or multiple family parties, participate in the prevention and positive resolution of disputes, and raise awareness about the importance of family, estate, and the defense of their rights, the improvement of coexistence, and the culture of dialogue and peace.
What will you learn?
- Develop, in professional practice, an expert command of law and deontology, upholding the principle of objectivity that legal practitioners hold in the application of professional values and ethics.
- Provide a legal framework that protects the rights and well-being of family members and their assets, promotes the peaceful resolution of conflicts, and contributes to the stability and healthy functioning of family relationships.
- Ensure the well-being and development of children, promote healthy relationships between parents and children, protect against violence and abuse, and provide a legal and social framework that fosters proper parenting and childcare within a context of respect, equality, and protection of their fundamental rights.
- Establish a legal and policy framework that protects and promotes the fundamental rights of all family members, with a special focus on the protection and well-being of minors.
- Identify, within the spectrum of conflict resolution, the most appropriate strategies for addressing disputes and how to apply them.
- Protect property rights, ensure responsible management of resources, prevent abuse and exploitation, guarantee access to necessary resources, promote autonomy and responsibility, and comply with legal obligations to ensure proper well-being and development.
