The Master’s Degree in Procedural Law at Universidad ECOTEC trains professionals capable of analyzing, interpreting, and applying procedural rules with a comprehensive vision of the law. This program combines legal theory with litigation practice, addressing the main procedural branches: constitutional, civil, criminal, administrative, and tax law.
Through our international partnership with Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes in Spain, students have the opportunity to earn a second European degree, strengthening their professional profile and expanding their academic and employment prospects internationally.
What will you learn?
- Substantiates community-based research and development projects, from the main epistemic approaches of Procedural Law, to solve socio-legal problems in national and international contexts.
- Provides legal advice on the resolution of legal disputes based on procedural avenues. Represents clients in accordance with established ethical, legal, and procedural principles within socio-legal relationships.
- Administers justice based on constitutional rights and guarantees and the application of legal norms.
- Resolves socio-legal problems from a procedural law perspective in the areas of legal counseling, legal representation, and the administration of justice.
- Demonstrates mastery of procedural principles, including those related to Due Process and conflict resolution.
- Determines the procedural requirements and conditions applicable to each particular case.
- Evaluates the components of the procedural system to ensure the proper administration of justice.
- Explains the structures of different judicial proceedings across the various fields in which procedural law is applied.
- Provides legal advice and representation in judicial proceedings in accordance with procedural principles, professional ethics, and socially responsible practice.
- Performs the role of a participant in the procedural system in accordance with the deontological principles of Law.
